Randy Flood was the keynote speaker at Kent County Domestic Violence Coordinating Council’s Lucheon Lecture Series. This workshop helped participants understand the complexities and nuances of individuals who abuse their domestic partners. Although some individuals may use universal abuse tactics to control their partner, participants learned about context and severity of abuse, as well as the psychological underpinnings of each type. It is essential to understand the types in order to effectively intervene, manage cases, and provide counseling.
