John Arens is the facilitator of Recovery Paths at the Men’s Resource Center in Holland and is also available for individual counseling. He earned his BA in Social Work from Kuyper College and his Master’s in Social Work from Western Michigan University. John trained in the General Method, and is certified in Choice Theory.
His experience includes over seven years’ working with adolescents and families in many capacities including with the Juvenile courts in Ottawa and Allegan counties. John has also worked in an outpatient setting treating depression, anxiety, obsessive compulsive and self-harming behaviors, PTSD and adjustment disorders.
