Charles Honey, religion editor, of the Grand Rapids Press interviewed Randy Flood of the Men’s Resource Center at Fountain Hill regarding recent confessions by Ted Haggard. Charles and Randy discussed how his self-revelations related to Ted’s complex sexuality may help other men who struggle with sexual addiction and other acting out problems. This is particularly true for men who suppress their sexuality related to sexual orientation. The suppression can create a dual self leading to compulsive and addictive sexual acting out, outside of an intimate relationship. Charles Honey authored the column “Don’t Cast Stones at Haggard”. Randy Flood was interviewed and quoted in the article as an expert in men’s sexuality.
