Male survivors of sexual abuse are often hesitant to speak about their experience. That’s why this screening of the documentary “Boys and Men Healing” is so important.  The movie offers first-person accounts of abuse and healing and provides an opportunity to discuss the impact the sexual abuse of boys has on both the individual and society, and the importance of healing and speaking out for male survivors to end the devastating effects.

Randy Flood will take part in the panel discussion that follows the movie’s screening. The organizers of this event hope it will raise awareness and create discussion about childhood sexual abuse, specifically in boys.

There will be counselors and clergy on hand to offer support, as well as resources available.

The movie screening, panel discussion, and resource tables will be in Aquinas College’s Wege Ballroom. Admission is free.
